The internet has been riding the back of HTML 4 since the year 1999 and slowly but surely we’re seeing the transition into the next
iteration of web development standards.
I’ve been boning up on HTML5, the future standard of web design, but at this point it’s mostly just reading and testing sample code. The problem is that, at the moment, not all features are supported by all major browsers; And on top of that, some features aren’t supported by any major browsers.
It makes it kind of tough to want to create your newest projects with an eye for future development. But hey, I’m doing just fine with good ole HTML4. I can wait a few more years…
