The origins of JWorks Studios goes back as far as 2001 in a little city called, Dallas, TX. JWorks Studios arose out of the love to fashion creative works with lots of different technologies. Origially started as a graphic design company, JWorks Studios eventually added onto its list of services with the addition of web design and development.

Not only a graphic designer and not only a web designer, Mr. JWorks is also a computer programmer, database programmer, debugger and a host of other things. This is why the view of JWorks Studios is so different than simpler graphic design or web design firms. The vision for JWorks Studios is to offer multitude of services by allowing the skills of its talented and creative employees to flourish in the process.

The question about JWorks Studios shouldn't be, "What is it that we do?"; Rather, the question should be, "What don't we do?" We aim to provide services for any and all industries, and for any and all individuals. As illustrated by our many, many different services and also our slogan, JWorks' got you covered.

Our two main focuses are graphic design and web design and development; And we use a lot of different technologies in our quest to impress.

For graphic design, we use to our advantage a collection of the most well know and not-as-well-known graphic design applications to accomplish different styles and see different results. A number of the graphic design applications we use are (Adobe) Photoshop, (Adobe) Flash, (Adobe) Illustrator, CorelDraw, InkScape, and Gimp. Each has it's pros but most importantly, broadening our use knowledge of different kinds of apps increases our expertise of graphic design itself.

Web design follows the same creed as graphic design does. There are many more specialized purposes for any website which is why we employ a host of today's most popular web languages and technologies to achieve a particular vision. Some of our favorite languages and libraries are HTML, PHP, Javascript, CSS, MySQL, Wordpress, XML, jQuery, and on occasion, Dreamweaver. 99% of web design our work is hand-coded. The remaining 1% is Dreamweaver, and only if specified by request. Why? Well, the fun of creating a website is to bring something to life, from scratch. Hand-coding it with a text editor just feels right, and it keeps us from getting rusty.
