This is an ad design for a special promotion for Bitch Slap Cosmetics. The headliner for the feature was Brittanya O’Campo, a model and actress who has appeared on multiple reality TV shows.
Kathy has been a client of mine for YEARS. I am her goto web designer in Dallas, so it’s not out of the ordinary to see her pop-up in my inbox. I also do much of her graphics, but this project was unique.
The reason it is unique is that the ad featured Brittanya O’Campo, a reality show star who’s claim to fame came from making appearances in VH1’s Rock of Love and Charm School. O’Campo was featured showing off her Bitch Slap Cosmetics products, and the media tie-in was a perfect match.
The design of the ad had to match the company’s mojo, and O’Campo had to shine as she does in the tv shows. The result was a successful graphic design project that melds the wild sex appeal of O’Campo and the in-your-face attitude of BSC.
