How has Your Website Changed Through the Years?

JWorks Studios Version 5: Onyx

I decided the old site needed an update. Getting back to my roots, I wanted to go darker, but keep it sleek, stylish, and engaging. And the logo

Dark doesn’t necessarily mean black. JWorks Studios version 5 is tailored with shiny grays, blue gradients, and white accents. Each page has its own modified container image which is a collage of the service in question. It really stands out on the homepage when using custom transitions in the hero section.

Version 5 is where I developed a great formula for my pages’ web design — You will notice how future iterations incorporate these styles. It is also the first theme that I modified to work with a WordPress add-on blog (which is where you are now).

“I loved this design when I created it. Still do. It was ‘dark’ but nothing was hampered by the background. The text popped, the portfolio looked great, and everything just worked! But I thought visitors would be better served with a brighter website.”
